Hi!! This is where we
set the record straight on undeserved feedback, feedback abuse and
extortion. eBay
has taken away the right for sellers to leave feedback on a buyers account…which
makes the transaction AND feedback a little one-sided to say the least. So, again…Here’s
where we set the record straight…please review:
Note that eBay has recently made changes to its feedback
policy that slants the system to the Buyer’s advantage. Sellers can NO LON
Unfortunately, eBay limits its involvement in such cases,
and hides behind a bunch of canned emails within its “Trust & Safety”
Program. If you have any concerns about
Here’s the latest list of feedback abuse by
“buyers”:
I
was going to leave feedback but when I got to the point of leaving the
feedback, I was questioned as to whether I contacted the seller. Feedback I
want to leave is neutral (should be negative). reasons
a) you did not answer my question. b) I bought the item on the am of 9/9,
postage not even purchased until 15/9. Service very poor in
my opinion. If I do not hear from you once again I will go ahead and leave
the feedback.

Dear samtuhz3734,
Hi,
Well, let's take them in order ok?
A. "I did not answer your question" - Not sure what question you're
talking about...I must have missed it...it happens. I'm not sure why you
continued with the purchase if this was a problem for you?
B)"Paid on 9/9, shipped on 9/15" - You're absolutely right! The
latest your item should've shipped was 9/14, as indicated in the item
description there is a 3 business day turn-around time...that's just a
reference, not a guarantee. That week my Monday was shot because my 6 year old
was starting 1st grade in school and we had some separation issues.
In any case, you need to remember that you're dealing with individuals
w/real lives here on eBay...and none of us operate like Walmart
or Barnes & Noble.
I'm very sorry to hear that you think my service was poor. I do the absolute
best I can, as evidenced by my feedback score....but I guess you can't please
everyone...you'll see a couple of those in my feedback as well:-)
So in the end, item A must not have been such a huge concern as I'm assuming
you asked the question prior to buying the item, got no response, but continued
w/the purchase.
Item B, yes...I was late by 1 day in shipping out the LP. Media Mail takes 9-12
days, so in worst case, I slowed down delivery by 10%.
Whatever you leave as far as eBay Feedback, I do appreciate you taking the time
to write and provide your perspective in writing as opposed to me trying to
figure out "why" someone was not happy based on some numerical score.
Thanks again –
